HomeLink Furnace 0.1.0
A parallel-smelting industrial furnace powered exclusively by HomeLink Energy: no fuel slot, no conversion. Heating, production and keeping warm consume HE from an internal buffer. A power cut pauses progress exactly and resumes it when energy returns.
CurseForge: publication under review.
Principle#
The industrial furnace runs several cooking recipes (smelting, cooking, drying) in parallel on a single block. Each tier raises the number of simultaneous jobs, the number of input slots, the processing speed and the energy buffer capacity. The server is authoritative over progress; the XP from finished recipes is collected by hand (HomeCore CONTROL permission): automation never takes the XP.
Tiers#
| Tier | Structure | Parallel jobs | Speed | Input slots | HE buffer |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Industrial Furnace I | 1×1×1 | 2 | 1.0× | 9 | 2,000 HE |
| Industrial Furnace II | 2×1×1 | 4 | 1.5× | 18 | 6,000 HE |
| Industrial Furnace III | 2×2×2 | 8 | 2.0× | 27 | 16,000 HE |
Energy#
The furnace stores only HE (HomeLink Energy): no fuel slot. A recipe's duration changes its energy cost, not the tier's speed. When stopped, the buffer recharges and the outputs stay accessible; a finished result waits if the output is full. Link the furnace to an Energy source (panels, turbines, hydro, batteries) via copper cable.
Recipes#
Every tier is crafted at the vanilla table. Each higher tier reuses the furnace from the previous tier.
Block icons: 3D render of their model, as in the inventory. Ingredients: real textures from the mod and Minecraft.
Faces and automation#
| Face | Role |
|---|---|
| Top | Input for items to process. |
| Back | Output of results. |
| Right | Energy input (HE). |
The input/output faces allow automation with hoppers or pipes. A redstone lock (Ignore / Signal required / No signal required) and an on/off button drive the heating. The furnace exposes itself as a HomeCore device: it appears in the Dashboard and binds to a HomeNetwork with the connector.
